We had a visit from Jason “Firsty”, our Crank Brothers rep, to show us the new goodies…

Check out the new Crank Brothers pedals, saddles, and seatpost! We'll give you a full report after a test ride.

from L to R:

The 11 Seatpost: 1-piece Carbon, 160 grams, 1 bolt clamp

The 11 Saddle: Replaceable Titanium Rails, Padded and Flexible Nose for technical climbing

The Mallet 2 Pedal: Aluminum/ Polycarbonate body, narrow profile for cornering

The Mallet 1 Pedal: Polycarbonate body, same narrow profile

The 50/50 Pedal: Dirt Jumping and Downhill Pedal with Aluminum and Polycarbonate body

Show us a vintage-looking saddle and we are like moths to a flame!

The Selle Royal Classic saddle with RoyalGel. This belongs on your townie.

Our Continental/ Selle Royal rep Jeff Eisner brought us this lovely faux-leather saddle that would look just as good on an old bike as it would a new Masi Soulville.

Royalgel is an exclusive polyurethane matrix product, the only gel which doesn’t break, doesn’t harden, and doesn’t age. Comparative pressure distribution tests prove that Royalgel™ padding guaranties the highest level of comfort, reducing pressure peaks by up to 80%.

A better distribution of the weight on the entire surface of a saddle with Royalgel relieves both the prostate/pubis area and the “sit bones”.

… that is a mouthful, the saddle is great!

… blue steel Olmo for an outstanding bike killer, a lipstick red, lugged Cinelli SuperCorsa, and PB and J ’til you bleed!

One project after another, David Bell finishes the "Bike Killer's" blue Olmo while I make sure we have all of the SuperCorsa's White Industries components.

The end result is a beautiful Olmo San Remo for a guy who has broken every Carbon bike he has ever owned!

The next project... a Cinelli SuperCorsa that we had to get this done before the fast-approaching Century weekend!

The boss meticulously assembles the Cinelli.

David puts the finishing touches on this lovely machine.

We LOVE to create happy cyclists... there goes another one!

We got to the Stanley rest stop to provide snacks for the Santa Fe Century riders on Sunday.

The starving Century riders were really happy to come to such a happening rest stop, complete with dance music!

The lines for the Porta-Potties were pretty epic throughout the day.

Awwh... that's cute!

Karen stopped by to tell us how much she loves her new Cinelli SuperCorsa... the word effortless was used to describe how it climbed "Heartbreak Hill."

It’s been so busy… and we have so much to update you on… STAY TUNED!

We’ve got your favorite T-shirt… you’ll wear it first out of the wash every time!

Santa Fe Fabric Artist, Edie Tsong with our custom hand-made Mellow Velo shirts...

We have just received a handful of our shirts in both men’s and women’s sizes… each letter is hand cut and sewn. They make an awesome gift or souvenir from Santa Fe, they always sell out quick so make sure you get yours this time, even Jan Ullrich approves!

Our buddy Tony Ballantine came by at lunch to show us the new goods from Magura… WOW!

These are going to be the next wave in disc brakes, the Magura MT-8.

Tony Ballantine, our good buddy and Magura’s National Sales Manager, brought by these “Hot off the Press” MT-8 Disc Brakes. It has the industry’s first injection molded All-Carbon Master Cylinder, which uses much less energy to produce than the aluminum equivalent. The pads are top-loading and magnet-retained, organic pads that will not squeal and dissipate heat very well without transferring it to the fluid. The Carbon lever blades and pivot were designed with the help of an ergonomics professor. The levers are a flip-flop design which can be bled from either side and are Match-Maker compatible if you have SRAM shifters and a five-year no-leak Warranty…  VERY VERY COOL!

A preview of a project we are very proud of… a fillet-brazed Casati Laser

It all starts with a doodle of our client's needs.

Andrew G. laces the wheels for the bike he has been dreaming of riding.

We start the build... we LOVE this process!

S-bend in the Casati fork gives a compliant and responsive ride.

The details on this fork are so muscular!

What a beautiful hub shape... White Industries.

White Industries Virtual-Bolt-Circle Cranks allow you to run ANY gearing combination you desire.

The Deda Cockpit in white is so BOSS!

SRAM Red Components in Silver.

Casati has always done 18k gold headbadges... gotta LOVE those Italians!
